1. Introduction to Bob's "Attitude of Gratitude" Success Formula:
Do you REALLY want to change? Are you sick & tired of being sick & tired?
"Fighting Back" by Sean McKenna:
Bob Steenlage comes from a dysfunctional family and was made fun of as a child. But he made a decision at age 12, while only weighing 75#, to make something out of his life by learning how to control his thoughts, discipline his life and focus on his detailed goals. He learned that developing an 'Attitude of Gratitude' brings about daily Encouragement & Hope, while dwelling upon one's problems brings about Despair.
Bob demonstrates that this understanding works for anyone who has a Burning Desire to change by becoming Iowa's First Four-Time State Wrestling Champion; Named as one of Iowa's Top 100 Athletes in the last 100 years; Team Captain & NCAA Div I All-American while at West Point; West Point graduate; Army Officer & Vietnam Veteran.
Bob is a Professional Speaker, speaking in over 2,500 schools, colleges, corporations, military bases, prisons, & parents' groups, after almost flunking out of West Point, because he had great trouble speaking in front of 15 cadets & writing a proper paragraph.
In addition to his speaking career, he is in the top 1% of income earners with FreeLife International. He has been with them for the past six years with many years of previous business experience with other companies.
Bob is featured in his personal biography, 'Fighting Back' and in various Profiles of Champions books. He has been inducted into numerous Athletic Hall of Fame's, and you can visit the 'Bob Steenlage Exhibit' in the 'Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute & Museum' in Waterloo, Iowa. He has also been featured on various radio and TV programs.
Bob thrives on inspiring people, who are willing to be coached on how to find happiness and success in life.
2. Personal Development Call with Bob every Wednesday night at 10 PMET
Anyone who has great success in life always stresses that "Personal Development" was a major reason for that success, and the same thing is true for "YOU".
Wednesday, November 4th, we will have our 7th "Fighting Back" Personal Development Call at 10 PM ET with Bob Steenlage. (712-432-2900, Pin 635 261#)
This week, Bob will be reviewing principles that in order to be a happy & successful, you must learn how to be a Thankful Person, How to Take Responsibility for everything in your life, no matter who or what caused it, and how to reprogram our subconscious mind for Success.
Bob will be discussing the Excuses Begone Paradigm Shift in detail. The first thing you need to ask yourself, "Is Your Excuse True?" We will be helping you find the Truth in four popular excuses.
1. It will be difficult. (Are you 100% certain sure that what you want to be is going to be difficult? When there's a choice, the notion that something is possible or even easy is far more inviting than the one that insists it's impossible or difficult. So which thought do you wish to hold?)
2. There will be family drama. (Can I be 100% certain that there will be family drama, if I take the action I'm contemplating?)
3. I can't afford it. (Are you 100% certain that you're unable to afford it? If there's any doubt in your mind, no matter how unlikely prosperity may seem to you now, then you must reject this excuse. The opposite of "I can't afford it," is "I can afford it," even if I don't know at the moment how I can make it all come true financially."
4. No one will help me. (If any possibility exists that there are people who may help you, then you must reject "No one will help me," as a falsehood.)
Bob will be discussing the question, "Where did your excuses come from?" (When it comes to those mental crutches you've relied upon for so many years, it will help you to become your own doctor & learn the origin & duration of your "condition" before you implement treatment. Just like physical problems, Habituated thinking can keep you from attaining the life of your dreams.)
1. What are your symptoms? 2. When did your symptoms first appear? 3. Whom were you with? 4. Where the people you were around have similar symptoms? Were they contagious? 5. Were you exposed?
Accept total Responsiblity, regardless of where all your excuses came from.
Bring a friend and learn how to help yourself every Wednesday night.
